"I wrote this song while watching my two year old son playing in the living room of our small apartment. It was a moment of ecstacy. His innocence and effervescence inspired me and this song poured through my guitar and body. I felt the most overwhelmingly powerful love for him, while all at once, realising the fleeting essence of life.

Being human and conscious is an innately contradicting experience. The love you feel for your children is the ultimate juxtaposition of feelings. It is the most amazingly pure emotion, full of worth and meaning. However, it is also a reminder of the passage of time. That you are growing older. It’s Weak Love.

Weak Love because of its transience. Weak love because in its wonder is a hint of life’s finite nature. Weak love because it reminds me of my flaws. Weak love because in a moment of rapture, it was captured by my pessimism. Weak love because it can’t last forever. But, I guess that’s what makes it so beautiful."
